We teach online computer safety and use for a generation of people who struggle with many obstacles. Physical disabilities, lack of information and lack of good teaching practices, often created barriers to best practices online. As we age, the need to stay connected and in touch with changing technology is important and can help with quality of life!

“Learn on the devices you use”
Our classes are designed to teach basic skills on personal devices. Please be sure that everyone has a laptop, a tablet, or a phone that they use. We’ll offer some desktop information in printouts for reference.
Kupuna Computer - How it Started!
I planned to launch these classes in early 2020. And then COVID hit. it’s been a frustrating year, but vaccines are here and we can get underway!
These classes were born out of the need I saw for Maui and Hawaii with our seniors. My mother has MS, and I have always been astonished at how technology has assisted her and helped her to stay connected and informed.
As time goes by, technology is more and more complicated. We rely on it to pay our bills, to check our emails, to talk to loved ones, and to get what we need. But seniors, or kupuna in Hawaii, don’t often get the needed information about to do basic programming for their phones, or learn how to spot a phishing attempt, or know when they are being scammed.
It’s my mission to help! From teaching seniors how to use Alexa
to stay connected and make their home safer, to understanding how to archive photos to a cloud … they deserve respect and understanding in this digital age.
